Having a name like Funeral Suits then the song sounding a bit end-of-New-Orders’ “Vanishing Point” is too much working out but having done so, this is great.

It sounds big –  all soaring synths and slightly pleading but vaguely optimistic vocals.

2 more things – a remix which doesn’t bring much to the party except a great big cuddly ‘other’ video.

Shove your eggs (not that Salted Caramel Hotel Chocolat one though) this is whats needed for an Easter Sunday – a top quality EP of effortless, neck-snapping bassline pop-funk.

His name is Harlan and he’s one of those I-can-and-therefore-I-bloody-do-play-every-instrument-ever-invented gifted sort of fellows.  Except drums apparently. Lazy.

I love each track – ‘Dancing On The Bed’ is probably a song of the year.  It certainly causes a bit of an overbite/strut combo over to the kettle.

I have been into Still Going for absolutely years, their every release greedily snapped up and snapped up waaaay before anyone else.

I book holidays just to coincide with their mentions on Resident Advisor.

Not really – I didn’t know them till around 8 minutes ago.  And now they’re my new favourite cosmicfuturedisco thing.  All of their tracks/remixes are about a week long and that quite frankly isn’t long enough.  Every single piece of music on their Soundcloud is brilliant.

Three countries that seem to produce a disproportionate amount of great pop.

Kids At Midnight are from Melbourne.  In Australia.  

This is an EP on Alan Braxes Vulture Music and generally consists of shiny, slinky electronic pop.

It just about navigates this side of the too-sweet-and-you-could-almost-say-bland line. There’s a bit of slap bass too.
