Back in the *cough* day I’d heard of ‘The Lessons’ but being pre-internet was an NME covermount 7″ with ‘The Motorcade Sped On’ was my actual intro to Double Dee & Steinski. It was an eyeopener for sure but I always chinstroked at rather than loved their stuff, admiring what’s possible with technology at the time. So it’s great to hear background on ‘The Lessons’ from Steinski himself. Briefly mentions how he now uses Ableton etc which is something I’d like to hear more on…..
